      Important note:

      • Use tasks across Parts A, B, C, D and E (in the Details of Tasks) for your analysis
      • Use the dynamic alignment framework model for your synthesis
      • Your recommended improvement programs should be based on the gaps (analysis-synthesis), and what you think should be done to ensure the company is moving toward its vision, mission and strategic goals
      • Tables, figures and infographics are not included in your word count.
      • Make sure you provide accurate referencing for both your analysis and synthesis components
  3. How to set up your Google SITES website

    Creating your Google Sites website:

    • Go to Google Sites at https://sites.google.com/
    • Log in using an existing Google account (if you have one) or follow the instructions to create a free account
    • Click CREATE to create your new website – we suggest choosing the Classic Sites option (as this is the interface used in the support videos etc)
    • Set your sharing options:
      • In the Settings menu, choose ‘Sharing and Permissions’ and Change the permissions for ‘Who has access’ to “On – Anyone with the link can access”
      • Copy the link to share, and share with your tutor
      • SAVE your settings
    • Watch the short video for quick tips on how to build your website – choosing a theme, inserting images and links, adding documents etc.
    • Now you can start building your website!

Presentation of your progress on Assessment 4 – Analytical Report

This presentation provides you with an opportunity to report on your progress in your tasks for assessment task 4, and to identity your key challenges and key plans, as well as your strategies to succeed. You will be provided with feedback to assist you in completing the assessment task 4.
Your presentation should cover the following items:

  1. Demonstrate your Google Site
  2. Brief introduction to your chosen company
  3. Report a summary of your analysis across the following tasks (see assessment task 4 for more information on these tasks)
    1. Supply issues (focus on a specific task)
    2. Operations issues (focus on a specific task)
  4. What are your top three challenges in relation to completing the assessment task 4? What are your plans and strategies to address these challenges?

Students are also required to submit the script of their recorded file as a single MS Word file.
Tips for completing this assessment:

    • Prepare your presentation as a recorded Zoom session (approximately 5 minutes), so that you can share your screen and demonstrate your Google Site.
    • The instruction of “How to set up your Google Sites website” is available under assessment 3 materials in LMS. In this instruction, steps for creating the website and recommended structure have been explained.
    • Students are supposed to create their Google site based on the instruction provided, then prepare the presentation of their site which includes (introduction, supply and operation issues analysis, challenges and strategies) as a recorded zoom session, finally you should upload the video to a media hosting service such as Youtube.
    • Submit the URL to the Google site and presentation link and also the script of presentation as a single word file.
