Consequently, the relationship between companies and these stakeholders ensures that there is the maximum production of goods and services, efficient labor use, and timely delivery of goods to consumers. In turn, this leads to the realization of maximum profits for the business (Gill, 2012).
Further, the relationship between businesses and stakeholders has been a subject of research in order to determine better strategic management practices. Notably, trust and good quality services have been found to be the key aspects of maintenance of the stakeholder relationship. Expressively, both the client and the management relationship are dependent on trust. On the same vein, employees should be treated fairly and equitably.

Simply, this is a question that seeks to answer whether a company should be focused more on their mission statements such as profit making or check on customer wants and needs. Ethically, the company should try and balance the two. To clarify, the stakeholders of a company should see customers as part of their company, thus, make products that suit their needs while sufficiently satisfying the company’s goals. Hence, the company will be able to meet their goals while simultaneously increasing their market share in the industry.
Ethical Issue on Helping Kraft to Promote Food to Children in a Socially Responsible Way
Notably, children are vulnerable individuals in the society. As such, companies such as Kraft that deal with production and sale of foods and beverages should act responsibly. To elaborate, the company’s objectives should be guided by morality and principles (Rothaermal, 2016). Furthermore, Kraft company should promote nutrition and healthy eating habits of its products in schools, retail shops, and malls. This acts as a socially responsible way to ensuring that obesity reduces amongst children.
Additionally, adherence to nutrition standards will ensure that children grow to be healthy and strong. This can be accomplished through labeling of nutrients on their packaged foods and drinks, advertising on recommended portion sizes for foods and drinks. Consequently, Kraft company will not only have met the social ethics question but also complied with known laws and regulations concerning food safety.
Moreover, Kraft can incorporate advertisement of foods and drinks into games. Lastly, they may use sponsorship criteria only with foods and drinks that meet the nutritional standards. That is, a sponsorship that involves sports and events concerning children. By meeting all the above, Kraft will have become socially responsible in their promotion of foods to children.
Ethical Question Relating to Whole Foods Business Strategy and Healthy Foods
Basically, whole foods entail unprocessed foods or may be processed as little as possible. With regard to this, whole foods businesses should ensure that their products meet the required standards while entering the market (Rothaermal, 2016). For instance, foods should remain fresh from the time they are on the counter to when they are being sold.
In light of this, companies involved in whole foods business should ensure that quality standards are met. For instance, artificial colors, hydrogenated fats, preservatives, and sweeteners are not allowed. Hence, ethically the companies should not compromise on this even if it means making some losses. By doing so, they are socially responsible to their customers’ well-being.
Ethical Question on Outsourcing HR Management Systems But Continue to Show Commitment to Employees
Firstly, the HR deals with matters relating to employees. Just but to name a few, the HR department tasks include recruiting, the creation of work policy manuals and screening of drugs. In today’s world, outsourcing of HR has become a way of cutting down on costs. Consequently, there is a need to determine which functions of the HR can be outsourced and which can be handled in house. To enumerate, some responsibilities like talent development, payroll, work policy manuals can remain in the house because they affect the goals and objectives of the company directly. On the other hand, employment of temporary staff, relocation, drug screening and carrying out of background checks can be outsourced. Hence, the most important functions will be retained by the company’s HR department. Consequently, this will ensure commitment to employees.
Ethics Question on Persistence of Globalization 3.0 and Projection on Globalization 4.0
Simply, globalization 3.0 refers to how the world has shrunk to size tiny. This means globalization of companies ended and now it is the globalization of individuals. Furthermore, it is an intensification of everything that was invented in globalization 2.0 such as fiber optics and the internet. As a result, jobs are being outsourced from one country to another. This brings about the ethical issue of employment whereby, jobs are being outsourced to India and China while Americans are getting unemployed. Consequently, the world has to have cushions for this, such as wage insurance, and re-education and training.
In addition to this, developed countries should outsource their expertise in fields that they are best known for, such as finance, research, and technology. Furthermore, projections for globalization 4.0 are the development of 3D printing. In essence, it means making of three-dimensional objects from digital files made on a computer screen. This will revolutionize all industries such as medical and trade. For example, 3D printing of organs may be possible in the medical field.
Ethical Question on Organization Culture and Sports Teams
Organization culture is a set of rules that guide the functions of an organization. It may entail values, beliefs and assumptions. With regards to this, there are different characteristics of organizational culture such as attention to detail, innovation, emphasis on outcome and emphasis on people, teamwork, aggressiveness, and stability. Therefore, depending on the characteristic that the company values, it would be unethical to go against it.

In light of this, people can be guided by some of the verses from the Bible on how to nurture these values. For instance, Proverbs 6:16-19 says, “ There are seven things that the Lord hates and cannot tolerate: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that kill innocent people, a mind that thinks up wicked plans, feet that hurry off to do evil, a witness who tells one lie after another and someone who stirs up trouble among friends.” To explain, God hates people who use deceitful means to unfairly advance themselves.
Furthermore, in Hebrews 13:5, the Bible clearly states, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” In essence, this verse highlights the need for Christians to have faith in God and not on earthly possessions. In brief, this verse teaches Christians to keep their lives free from the love of money and be satisfied with what they have. Furthermore, the Bible assures Christians that even in the midst of calamities, God will not abandon them. To enumerate, this means that too much love for money is the root of all evil. Evidently, this gluttonous desire for money leads to crime, corruption, divorce, and breakage of business relationships.
On the same note, the Bible says that all human beings were created in the image and likeness of God. In effect, individuals’ behavior should express God’s character and principles. In general, these are integrity, honesty, love, and care. Similarly, Hebrews 13:18 expresses that people have a clear conscience for doing what is good and just. That is to say, Christians need to identify what is truly important in life and prioritize it. To put it differently, the book of Mark 8:36 clearly states that “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.” In summary, these two verses espouse on the need to develop a person’s character over the search for material possessions.

All businesses are built with the sole purpose of making a profit. In effect, all business stakeholders should come together and play their part in ensuring that the business thrives. Nonetheless, Christians have an obligation of conducting their businesses in a biblically acceptable manner and not just making profits. However, without good morals, as stipulated in the Bible, all these efforts will be futile. In general, this is to mean that resources, both human capital and financial will go to waste if all the stakeholders do not employ integrity, honesty, and good services in their dealings.
Furthermore, stakeholders need to give back to the community (Rotharmel, 2016). In as much as businesses receive from the community, it is also their responsibility to return (Hollenbach, 2002). Essentially, this is in accordance with what the Bible says, which requires them to take care of the orphans, the paupers, and widows (Exodus 22:22). In addition, stakeholders’ involvement in social works creates a good relationship with the communities that their employees come from. In essence, the workforce will be motivated (Herman, 2001).
On a positive note, community social responsibility attracts favor from government bodies, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations may feel proud and indebted to businesses offering such activities. In turn, they may opt to support these businesses either financially or being their clientele. In practice, good integrity among the stakeholders creates an atmosphere that allows for peace and longevity (Maritain, 1973). To clarify, through just treatment of the employees, a company may be able to retain its specialized labor force. Peaceful and steady relationships may make business suppliers and customers to retain their contracts due to the positive relationship with the enterprise.
Finally, good integrity and morals among all stakeholders are essential skills needed to progress in business and career. Noteworthy, it is common for businesses, governments, and employees to conduct a background analysis of individuals before forming contracts with them. Notably, this demonstrates the need for these characters for businesses and employees. In light of this, individuals that possess proper morals and integrity succeed in their endeavors in the long term.
Summing up, integrity and proper morals are vital commodities for any business that wants to excel. Integrity creates trust and accountability among stakeholders. Interestingly, this character outrightly reveals itself in the long run and people cannot fake it. In turn, business individuals do not associate with people who lack this character. Effectively, any business person that lacks integrity is doomed to fail in its work.
